Internship 2010
Get real challenges in a real company. Do it for 2-3 months in San Francisco, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Reykjavik or a city of your own choice.

Purpose of Internship
The purpose for the students’ internship at a company is to create a real-life based academic foundation, which is relevant for the students’ specialization and final exam-project at the Multimedia Designer program.

Specialization and the final exam-project
The first stage is the specialization. The specialization takes place as an internship at a company. The internship is to give the student skills in both the educational and commercial fields.

The student and the company have to - in unison - ensure that the assignments completed by the students during the internship can act as a foundation for the student’s specialization. At the same time, the specialization has to also give the student commercial experiences throughout the specialization period. 

The second stage is the final exam-project. When the internship is completed, the internship will subsequently form the basis for the student’s final exam-project. In final exam-project the student has to document in the projects report the ability to methodically analyze and solve a complex, practical problem.  

Agreement regarding the business internship
During the month of October the student chooses his or her specialization and will then have a guidance-counsellor appointed. The Counsellors name and contact-information will figure on the form regarding the agreement pertaining to the business internship.

It is then up to the student to find, arrange and complete his or her internship. 

The guidance-counsellor will be available for both the student and the company; this is to ensure that the internship will benefit both parties involved.
