NoMA GRADUATES IN COOL JOBS

TINA SIMONSEN
I started at Lego one week after graduating from Noma. I work as a web designer and this is really my dream job.

I got the opportunity of becoming an intern at Lego for two months during my education and this made my way possible into the company. I succeeded in doing so because I took a chance and made a huge work effort during my internship.

When I started at Lego I benefitted from the knowledge obtained at Noma, and this helped me getting a good start. NoMA gave my a solid basis which I have continued to build upon. Lego has been a really good company giving time and space to learn more and help me move forward.

At Lego I have had the opportunity of getting in touch with different work areas. Therefore I have an exiting job with various design jobs. No two days are the same, there are always new challenges to work with.

BAHTIYAR GÜLTEKIN
After my graduation from Noma I got a job at the Athena IT-group which makes IT-total solutions. The Athena IT-Group operates all over Denmark and seeks to become a player in the Nordic market as well. The company became a member of the Nordic stock exchange in May 2007.

My job title is marketing assistant and I both work with printed items and websites. I also participate in preparing trade shows.

Beneith all this I have customer responsability since I teach in the use of our CMS system. In this way I actually use my knowledge from NoMA concerning programming in a whole new way. I didn’t imagine this when I took the education.

My job is exiting and involves many different tasks. A lot of things happen in the company right now.

SIDSEL LÜSCHER RAUFF
I started studying Film and Media at the Copenhagen University. But I soon realized that I would rather be out in the real world and experience real life.

Today I have a super exciting job as Executive Assistant / Project Manager at Dun & Bradstreet in the company’s department of Grand Major Customers in Copenhagen.

I have benefitted a lot from my education at Noma – especially the project management program which I took during the second year.

Beneith that I work with supply management products and risk management products. These are highly related to Porter’s 5 Forces. This theorem was a central part of the education at Noma.

In terms of customer care and the planning of large and financially heavy projects, I use my experiences from exercises in body language and how one can turn something negative into something positive plus the managing of expectations and looking competent in the customer’s eyes.
