Study Program
The goal of the study program at NoMA is to qualify You to master multi media communication. And to qualify You to master your future career.

Academy Profession degree:
The Academy Profession degree (AP degree) (Danish title: profession + (AK)) is awarded after 2 years of study (120 ECTS points). Admission is possible on the basis of either general upper secondary education or relevant vocational education and training supplemented by adequate general upper secondary courses (e.g. maths, physics, English). The programmes qualify students to perform practical, vocational tasks on an analytical basis. Apart from theoretical subjects, the programmes usually involve a final project.

The teaching is made up of a combination of lectures, exercises and working with projects. The emphasis is put on a problem and project-oriented method of teaching.This method of teaching is to ensure the students necessary theoretical foundation and readiness to assess and work independently with the relevant elements of the Multimedia field.

Company Guest Lectures
NoMA puts in great effort into using guest-lecturers from the trade and industries throughout the program.

Project Work
A large part of the education evolves around project work. Some projects are very short, some longer. They all are an effective way to put the relevant theories in work , for better understanding and practical work skills.Each semester you write 2 projects for real lifecompanies where you take up ongoing business multimedia challenges.

Company Visits
During the semesters guest lecturers will visit the academy to give you knowledge of the latest trends in different fields. And we visit companies to get an idea of what is going on.

Visual design
The focus is on getting great ideas, creating designs, and mastering graphics software. The design includes various media forms such as print, web, video, CD-ROM, and DVD productions. The students also experiment with design by exploring the interaction of form and function by specific symbols, colours, styles, aesthetics, art, and typography.

Interaction
The students will obtain knowledge of the back-end aspect of multimedia development, for example programming websites with xhtml and Flash. The students learn about test procedures, implementation, and maintenance. All topics are taught from a basic level so that you are well equipped to handle the tasks involved in constructing websites and other multimedia productions.

Business
The students obtain a sound understanding of business life and how companies use multimedia technologies today. Strategic planning, decision-making, and development of e-business concepts are also a vital part of the education. Being part of a development team and managing multimedia development projects are learned both in theory and in practice.

Communication
The students obtain skills in using communication tools that ensure the desired effect. You learn how to construct a solid choice of media with an effective relationship between the target groups, the media used, the distribution channel, and the costs and resources in a rapidly changing information world.
