We are dedicating some of our Wednesdays to having professionals from the multimedia world, visiting us at NoMA.

 


REAL LIFE PROJECT
BIANCO FOOTWEAR
Helle Vangsgaard, International Marketing Manager, of BIANCO Footwear, briefed the NoMA students on this springs REAL LIFE project. The tasks this year, range from a visualization of the BIANCO identity, over developing InStore multimedia, to creating a web 2.0. flash game for mobile phones.
She will be back in two weeks to evaluate the productions.

C IS FOR CLAYMATION
What a fun day we had, as we spent a full day doing claymation movies.
Tina Klemmensen, who worked at Aardman Animation on Chicken Run, and on Postman Pat, instructed and guided us all through the day.

 

 

 

Økolariet: Spatial Multimedia
Økolariet in Vejle is an exhibition house packed with multimedia. From 3-projector presentation room to moving head projector in the exhibition. Combined with a wast number of touch screens, 50 inch plasma's, in-floor screens(!) and holographic's and advanced sound and light systems. Great inspiration to put multimedia in open space whith people.

CEO Merete Due Haarup
... founder of in Imageconsult, gave NoMA students an inspiring kick off for their newest real-life project. Make the city of Vejen a more attractive to young people, by making a multimedia campaign.




3D Video Landscape

Center for Advanced Visualization and Interactivy took NoMA students to the frontiers of digital media. Visit www.cavi.dk

We experienced among others a virtual studio makes it possible to use digital 3D models as sets in film and TV production.

NoMA Visits LEGO
NoMA students visited LEGO's In-House agency as a Real Life Wednesday. We met with Thomas S. Fenger and Pauline Preston who introduced us to the ideas of LEGO, and gave us a tour of the facilities.

For us NoMA students there is the possibility of a future internship at LEGO. And she added that it was not even necessary to speak Danish! For sure many of us would like to work in a company like LEGO.
